Born in Milwaukee, WI and raised in California since age two, I am a true Cali girl. I found my love for everything design early on and by age nine I would draw complete towns on lined paper; tapping them together and making full-scale cities. Souldesign began as a concept as a teen from hearing the countless compliments people would give my mother about our small apartment and the style it embodied. I felt like design was a warming soulful experience and held some intrinsic value that I didn’t quite understand at the time. I held the concept close to my heart and life continued.
Fast forward twenty years, what started out as a home staging and interior design company in 2015 SOULDESIGN1 evolved from a series of life events; the biggest being grief from the loss of a baby, caring for ailing and aging parents and the need for self-care in any space. The (1) in our name represents new beginnings, fresh starts, spiritual awakenings, and connecting design and wellness into one. By exploring the ancient use of aromatherapy and other wellness practices we were able to create a line of self-care and luxe decor pieces that provide those relaxing moments that everyone deserves to enjoy from the comfort of their homes.
